Ben Brainard Brand Identity
Project Goal
Renowned comedian Ben Brainard sought a brand refresh that would resonate both online and on merchandise. I directed the rebranding of his website, enabling seamless integration with his social media campaigns for tour dates and merchandise promotions.
Challenge
Ben’s previous website lacked a cohesive brand identity and was not user-friendly, hindering his fans’ access to tour date information. Consequently, his social media presence lacked unity and failed to stand out.
Solution
Through in-depth discovery calls and thorough review of Ben’s social media content and stand-up performances, I identified the flamingo illustration from his iconic bucket hat as the focal point for expansion. I anchored the color palette and brand identity around flamingo pink, ensuring consistency across all platforms. Additionally, I designed his new merchandise line featuring a custom flamingo and bucket hat illustration, reinforcing his brand image.
