Project Goal

The renowned comedian and featured artist on America’s Got Talent, Drew Lynch, sought a revitalization of his website, with a particular emphasis on aligning it with his ongoing “Short King” tour.

Challenge

During our discovery call, we delved into the existing website’s challenges. Drew expressed dissatisfaction with its outdated and immature appearance, lacking the sophisticated comedian vibe he aimed to convey. Additionally, there was a substantial amount of new material that needed integration into the updated platform. Drew desired a more polished and professional visitor experience on his website.

Solution

My approach involved a comprehensive focus on enhancing the visual appeal through an engaging color palette, carefully selected fonts, a revamped logo, and cohesive brand elements. Seamlessly blending the new brand identity with tour photography, I curated sections and calls-to-action that spotlighted Drew’s comedic prowess. Recognizing Drew’s unique claim to fame with his speech impediment and humorous struggle to say the word “Banana,” I incorporated the banana into the logo design. The color palette was strategically built around the vibrant banana yellow, with a dark mode implementation to impart the sophisticated edge that Drew envisioned for his online presence.
